Position Description:

This position will be a key a member of the exective management team of Andromedia and a key member of the product development team within the company. This person will be responsible for the success of the product from beginning to end. They will manage the product all the way through its life cycle. This person will evaluate the market requirements for the product, prioritize their importance, determine the strategy and positioning for the product in the marketplace and champion the launch of the product. Andromedia has chosen an organizational structure that revolves around project/product teams. The two key individuals responsible for this organization running effectively are the project managers and the product managers. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to significantly influence the direction of Andromedia and its products.

Professional Experience Required:

• Successfully managed at least two software products from definition to release
• Some programming experience required (not current)
• at least 5 years of product marketing experience

Education:

• Engineering/Math undergrad with MBA is ideal
